the karamay project by agos clinic waiting room
is a combination of a mural and four circular paintings in the Nine Circles Clinic waiting area. "Karamay" is a Tagalog word that means companion. Navigating changes in our lives is easier together.
PATHways through the pitstop by jessica canard pit stop
iI was asked to design images that would serve as “way-finders,” allowing staff to use the images to guide their clients to various parts of the building. The “way-finders” are a moose, sturgeon, bees, and butterflies. These creatures were chosen because they are such big helpers in the natural world. The thrill of a moose hunt and knowing that moose only eat medicinal plants from nature makes the moose medicine. It also makes the moose extra tasty. Lake sturgeon are a sign of a healthy environment, which Nine Circles is. The bees, as pollinators, are a big reason we have so much diversity in flora and fauna, which we need to live. Butterflies are a symbol of change and transformation. They are also indicators of a healthy environment.
TEAMWORK IS EVERYTHING.
